Join us at Grand Canyon Education and begin your career helping Grand Canyon University students succeed! We are looking for a motivated individual for our Coordinator II, Enrollment Operations position. Depending on experience, starting salary is $52,000 per year.

This position is a Phoenix, AZ based role as we are currently in a hybrid remote status. This position may require you to be in the office 2 days per week (subject to change).

New hire training will encompass three full weeks of training. One week will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus and the following two weeks will be held virtually via Zoom.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for planning and organizing the activities of an assigned program, project, department, or function and ensuring the operational infrastructure is in place.

  • Review departmental needs and expectations and determines most effective means of execution of specific duties to ensure goals are met in a timely fashion.

  • Partner and collaborate with various internal contacts, or customers, to coordinate activities, promote and encourage cooperation of submission or collection of information/data, products or services or process improvement.

  • Manage the flow of activities and acts as liaison to all others involved in the department

  • Create and maintain all communication materials, templates and social media sites for department which serve the purpose of informing all stakeholders in departments initiatives, activities, and progress.

  • Serve as key liaison from incoming requests to department.

  • Recommend solutions to inefficiencies in departments operational processes.

  • Communicate with customers, clients, contacts, vendors both internal and external to organization.

  • May arrange meetings, events, activities, and coordinates all logistical activities necessary with the appropriate department or external venue, ensuring all requirements are met.

  • Prepare documentation, reports, progress information or performance metrics for presentation or review of management.

  • Assist with the preparation of the department budget and may reconciles expenses and submits requests for payment, receiving authorization from department head.

  • May maintain an inventory of promotional/office supplies, replenishing as needed and approved.

  • 2 years administrative professional work experience.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background investigation.
