If so, we want you to be the friendly, resourceful face behind our Human Resources Service Center! As an HR Service Center Representative, youll be the first line of HR support-fielding questions, guiding employees through our systems, and ensuring every interaction is helpful, clear, and positive.
What Youll Do:
- Serve as the first tier of support for HR-related inquiries, providing accurate and timely information to employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Create a positive and efficient employee experience by effectively managing phone, email, and walk-in inquiries through to resolution.
- Gather relevant information, research issues, and troubleshoot problems, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Assist employees with navigation and troubleshooting of HR systems and self-service tools.
- Accurately enter and maintain employee information in HR systems and ensure data integrity across platforms.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as responding to unemployment claims and processing employment verifications.
- Support leave and accommodation case managers by handling initial inquiries related to leaves of absence and workers compensation, verifying eligibility, maintaining case files, and completing follow-up tasks.
What Youll Bring:
- Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience providing high-quality customer service and support in a professional setting.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Technical aptitude and comfort working with HR systems and data.
- Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to areas such as leave administration, benefits, payroll, HRIS, or shared services.
- Experience handling HR policy questions and supporting employees through various HR programs.
- Familiarity with leave of absence laws, workers compensation processes, and HR compliance.
