GCE is looking for a talent acquisition expert who will oversee all aspects of talent acquisition with a lens toward elevating our employer brand and candidate experience. This position is responsible for developing and leading a highly functioning team of Talent Acquisition Supervisors and Partners. This individual will analyze existing processes, survey employees and provide suggestions on recruiting enhancements to HR senior leadership and drive successful delivery to support growth as well executive recruiting initiatives that align with the business strategy. While this position is a Phoenix, AZ based role, we are in a remote status, with one in office day per week required. There may be department meetings or training's that require in-person attendance (proper health and safety measures will be followed), in which advance notice will be provided.

What You Will Do:

  • Coach, mentor, develop, train and support Talent Acquisition Supervisors
  • Manage the University talent acquisition program, systems, and daily operations of the talent acquisition team.
  • Responsibilities encompass the program management of the full cycle recruitment process, including the development and execution of attraction, sourcing, assessment, selection, and acquisition strategies for high quality candidates.
  • Research and analyze data pertaining to recruitment, turnover, staffing patterns, labor markets and demographics to maximize utilization of manpower. Recommend improvements to reduce recruitment related turnover; prepare and analyze talent acquisition metrics.
  • Develop long-term staffing strategies and qualified candidate pipeline to ensure the University has the necessary talent pool. Develop and maintain contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms and other sources of applicants.
  • Manage branding initiatives, ad generation and job postings for effective exposure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Have:

  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of recruiting in a high-volume environment, closing complex positions, negotiating compensation packages, and building an innovative and sustainable talent acquisition strategy, along with a depth breath of current market rends and competitive data.
  • Technical Skills: Strong excel and data analysis skills, the ability to interpret data and create a narrative is critical. Basic statistical analysis of productivity metrics and standards as well as financial analysis (cost effectiveness, cost benefit) Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and office machines and other office software such as fax-on-demand services, call center caseload software, telephony systems, etc. Workday comprehension would be an asset
  • Professional Demeanor: Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, and manage conflicting priorities Excellent interpersonal, customer service and team-oriented skills with the ability to work within a highly structured environment; handles difficult situations and customers in a professional and courteous manner. Able to tailor messages to a variety of audiences, craft complex communications for all levels within client groups and convey updates and training or presentations to groups.
