The Studio Operations Manager will be an integral part of the multimedia team managing operations at GCU's Studio on campus. This role is responsible for a wide range of duties pertaining to the day-to-day operation of the studio as well tracking inventory of all equipment.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate studio scheduling between multiple entities and departments.

  • Oversee daily tasks and schedules for student workers.

  • Responsible for maintenance and inventory tracking of all company-owned broadcast equipment and ensure any rental equipment is returned timely and in good condition.

  • Order and pick up any new equipment through a procurement system.

  • Perform regular software and hardware updates to camera and audio gear.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues with camera, lighting, and audio gear.

  • Update and maintain props and wardrobe assets and databases.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or Broadcast Maintenance Engineering training.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with studio production.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of all broadcast equipment.

  • Technical knowledge of cameras and lighting gear.

  • Mac OSX file system basics and network configuration.

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

  • Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.

  • Must pass pre-employment background investigation
